i'm still confused
what’s wrong with birth control again (other than the fact that very few improvements have been made to it despite the need)?
complaining about people’s access to birth control in times of economic turmoil seems counter intuitive. if you’ve been complaining about people being on welfare, food stamps, etc. then why would you want less people to have the ability to stop unwanted...
today
-veg corn dog and french fries for lunch, followed by a fruit smoothie. -clean up this ‘messy’ apartment -drive to the doctor’s office and pick up the sock needle i left there yesterday -go to the library to pick up my books on hold -possibly buy some more fat quarters of the veggie fabric from the quilting shop to make place mats with -knit and study for the gre somewhere...
IT'S GOING TO BE 50 DEGREES TOMORROW?
on a day that i have off? this is unheard of. i will totally be going on all sorts of walks tomorrow!
i mean, robbie is going to judge a kid’s science fair in spokane on his way to a conference in oregon, but i get a 50 degree day in pullman!
he needs to magically have all the free time ever tonight so we can watch more doctor who so i don’t have to stare longingly at the dvd all...
today
-change out of work clothes and into some flannel and jeans.
-walk down to the library and live there
-likely going to get a coffee and knit at thomas hammer
-come home and sew some stuff

-sleep
i have the material to make robbie and i some pj pants, napkins, fleece pillows, and fleece bugs. hopefully i’ll find my way around this sewing machine and get to crafting...

this is why you need to be very very careful about flea medication.
i just cut the mattress pad foam to fit the short length of our futon. i do this at work frequently but with and electric saw and not the shears from my tool box. i’m glad it came with a nice cover so that you wouldn’t see the end that looks like i chewed the 3 inches off.
the cat is enjoying the spoils of my victory with a nap in the sunshine.

-got paid $100 more than i had factored into our monthly budget. there was much rejoicing.
-our recycled eco checks STILL haven’t come yet. i worry.
-found a memory foam mattress pad for 10 bucks at the thrift store yesterday. the cover for it is in the dryer and once it’s finished drying the cuddles will begin.
-cause it’s pay day robbie and i will probably go buy more magic...

it's been snowing for two days straight
we’re supposed to accumulate near another foot. i really don’t want to drive to work tonight. i also don’t want to put on a bib, gortex boots, and a snowproof jacket to walk the laundry downstairs. but even with the awning, there’s at least an inch of accumulation on our walkways. boo snow. boo it forever.
