I had never seen the Hellboy movies (and I’m also not familiar with the comics, sorry), so I watched them recently and I loved them! I really wish more movies would get creative with prosthetics/costumes/makeup/animatronics! It is such a rare treat to see some things that aren’t CG in movies these days.
it’s so very strange that the same actor is the voice actor for the animated movies, but the characters are two different hellboys. the animated movies are far closer to the characters in the comics. though, i have to say, i did enjoy the second movie purely because of my love of del toro.
